Thanks for taking a look.  Several years ago I broke the LCD screen on my 
M8; I have figured out how to format and set ISO by memory but never 
bothered to worry about date stamp.  I only use the M8 now for IR and may 
transition soon to an A7 something modified for IR as for some things IR 
just works better.
