Subject: [Leica] Nathan's PAD 3/2/2018: winter, for real this time

Most of Spain is getting hit with a spot of proper winter this weekend, with
snow in Madrid and many other places. In our little paradise here in
Alicante, we got down to around 10C/50F, and for only the second time in the
more than 10 years I have lived here, I could actually see snow from the
beach road. The mountains around here reach a height of around 1500 m, and
yesterday it was snowing at altitudes of 700-800 m and up:

One of my usual cycling spots, the Puerto de la Carrasqueta (alt. 1020 m)
was crowded with people who had driven the 40 km from Alicante for a rare
chance to let their children play in the snow. Good thing I did not cycle
there today,

Cheers,
Nathan
