Thanks Douglas, the water is very clear around here but I rarely enter it 
;-)  To be fair, it was the same when I was in Aude...

Nice stuff, john, excellent images, and that water looks inviting. 
Having been swimming today, I can confirm that the sea is indeed currently 
very inviting, and, as my pharmacist advises me that we are at peak iodine 
this month, I presume you are descending the Whaligoe Steps every hour to 
throw yourself into the embrace of Nurse Iodine?
