In the M9 EXIF, read the IMAGE UNIQUE ID ....
It will look like this....

Image Unique ID: 00000000000000000000000000004fec

Now all you have to do is to convert to Decimal.....

You do read Hex, don?t you?

BTW, the number above is 20,460 in decimal......

There is a program ( free) that would do this for you.... or your M8 or, 
or,or.......
