Subject: [Leica] Nathan's PAD 1/1/2017 (amended): sleepy lottery vendor
From: photo at frozenlight.eu (Nathan Wajsman)

In my weekly blog for the first week of 2017 I included a picture of a
sleepy lottery vendor at Alicante airport (see:
http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws/?page_id=1781, the second image).

One of the comments came from my friend Lluis in Barcelona, who suggested
cropping the image to eliminate the woman in the background. I decided to
follow his suggestion, and here is the result:

I cannot eliminate her completely without also chopping off the lottery
vendor?s foot (unless I were to resort to the type of Photoshop trickery
that I eschew).

What do you think? I see merit in both images: the original one shows more
context, this one focuses more on the main subject.

Cheers,
Nathan
