Subject: [Leica] What would you conclude?

Did that go to Leica USA or Germany?

My inclination would be to contact Don Goldberg at DAG Camera or the one 
mentioned in another response, John at Focal Point.  There may be 
"repairs" available, rather than simple parts replacements.

Sorry for your experience, Doug.  That sucks.
