Hi Tina,
Well LEICA should use you and your IRAN results for promotion of this new
LEICA 601camera without Question! Of course payment might be via a new
LEICA SL (601) camera or a pleasant fee or an all expenses covered? OR
BETTER fee & TRIP!? Obviously CAMERA & expenses! :-)
Given the locations and by available light, IRAN? MY GOODNESS, IF THEY DON'T
USE YOU AND YOUR MATERIAL?
ONLY ILLUSTRATES WHAT A COLLECTION OF IDIOTS THEY ARE!
Unfortunately their marketing/executive people are not that bright in using
"real highly talented LEICA USING HIGHLY TALENTED" photographers" to promote
LEICA equipment!

Along the lines of Doug Herr, whom I've attempted over the years to bring
his incredible "WILD LIFE PHOTOGRAPHER TALENTS USING LEICA GEAR!" To their
attention on more than one occasion! Same nonsense? With he a wonderful
talented "Real on location" photojournalist who've supported LEICA for many
many years without question!" And have promoted LEICA with quality
photography and incredible LEICA results!
AND HAVE "ALWAYS BOUGHT & PAID FOR THEIR LEICA EQUIPMENT!"
Try that on some of the dumb asses they've used who've never shown us one
"whiz bang very cool talented hold your breathe image to encourage me (A
LEICA CAMERA BUYER/ USER? 50 years at least 3 LEICA SLR's & 3 M type cameras
at the same time!)
However if I were not at the somewhat end of my 65 years as a "working
published photojournalist and book author! Along with 16 years as the key
lecturer for the "LEICA Cape Cod SEMINAR?"
Without question I would have 3 of these new Leica SLR 601's and 3 of the
new M models that fit my assignment requirements. But then that's another
day and year!
cheers,
Dr.Ted Grant O.C.

The Leica SL is the one I've been using lately. Almost all of the Iran
photos were made with the SL. High ISOs are wonderful with a film-like grain
instead of noise. It's the best digital camera Leica has made. I only have
one SL lens - the 24 to 90, but it does take all Leica M and R lenses with
adapters. I don't regret buying it!!
