I actually use a Humidity Controlled Cabinet for my gear, similar to this
one - also Chinese made:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1151014-REG/sirui_hc_110_electronic_humidity_control.html

It works very well in our climate, which is all about humidity and dust -
the only season it is comfortable even to wear a short sleeved shirt is
winter!. Not had a single lens succumb to fungus (which is rather
effortless to achieve here) since I started using it. It is now 8 years
old, and still working well.
Cheers
