Subject: [Leica] M9 reliability question

Are Leica replacing faulty sensors with new ones immune to this problem, or
are they still replacing them with the old kind until they perfect the
replacement? I ask because the sentence below from the Leica website
implies the former:


We have now identified the problem and are currently concentrating our
efforts on finding a permanent technical solution

Not sure if my sensor has this fault, or if the shiny specks in the top
right and bottom left corners of my sensor are something else. I wanted to
show a photo I just took of it, but it seems my toddler has hidden my card
reader (!) and also, my Canon 5DII no longer shows up when I connect it via
USB (hence the need for the card reader).
