You are right, Nathan.  I hate most Canon lenses but I have one that I like
- the 85/1.4.  It's mostly the wide angles and zooms that show fringing,
etc.  The 85 is a pretty good lens that I would love to try on the SL.

I do still have the Canon 1DMII but I much prefer the menus, buttons,
ergonomics, file size, etc. of the SL so it will probably make sense for me
to get the Novoflex adapter.
