I have seen some on the lists running M/SL systems by choice but needing Canon for some things, they now can do without the latter bodies. Not my argument, I am not in the market for the current SL ;-) john -----Original Message----- Why not just buy a Canon 1DX Mk II in that case, for around the same price, and eschew the one solitary lens that Leica has, in its wisdom, made available? I know it does not have a red dot, but it is matched perfectly to those Canon lenses, and besides, it really is a state of the art digital camera body! :-) Cheers Jayanand Sent from my iPad > On 27-May-2016, at 13:25, John McMaster <john at mcmaster.fr> wrote: > > It makes the SL more useable for some, opens the Canon world of 17mm, 24mm > etc tilt/shift lenses and fast telephotos... > > john > > -----Original Message----- > > But I thought you hated Canon lenses?
