Actually you have received the answers.
In several different "modes."

It's far simpler than you're making it.

You set the camera to the parameters that you wish to use.
Then you use the camera.
When you wish to change the parameters you make the changes.
Then you use the camera in that new chosen mode.

You need never CHOOSE "snapshot" mode.
You cannot permanently "delete" snapshot mode.
Because, obviously, it may just what a different user would like to use.
