Subject: [Leica] Peacocks and People

I personally love photographing peacocks. Though photographs of them
dancing are common, they look equally beautiful when not doing so, with
their long tail and vivid colours, in their natural environment:

Kanha is an evergreen forest, so the contrast between the dried out grass,
and the vivid green of the leaves on the trees, is enhanced by the warm
evening light:

As is to be expected in mid April, it was extremely hot (41C) and dusty

An essential part of wildlife watching in Indian forests is the waiting and
waiting, and then waiting some more, especially when on the prowl for for
tigers! I kill the boredom by turning the lens on my fellow tourists,
guides and drivers around:
