Perfect response! I went back to the scene and looked at it as best I could
using your description. Yep you were right on the mark shooting/cropping as
you did!

Ted,

I thought about that, and shot a closer version, as well as one further
back showing more of the house. In the end, I felt that I needed some
context around the flag. The unusual flag on the mundane, ordinary house.
The further back version was too far, the flag was hard to see, so this
was the best compromise between the goals of showing the unusual flag and
showing the setting in which the flag lived.
