Subject: [Leica] the SL: ISO3200

Today the Red-breasted Sapsucker that has been wintering in my yard deigned 
to make himself available for a portrait.  It's been a dark and stormy day 
so I decided to try an ISO higher than my usual 400 for this bird.  Since 
the SL does not have the sensor stabilization feature I've been enjoying in 
the Sony a7II, ISO 3200 on the SL will allow me to use 1/1000 sec with the 
500mm lens (Canon FD L).  I'm not fond of the Sony's noise pattern above ISO 
400 so I wanted to see what the SL's noise is like.

This is about 1/4 of the original 24MP image:
