I thought the bird market would be quiet but it was a holiday, of course, and busier than I had ever experienced it. First, some of the ?boys? - Greg, Clarence, Joe and Ray - plenty of Leicas in evidence: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hong+Kong+2016/Boys3550.jpg.html> I had my M to Fuji adapter with me and Greg lent me his 90mm Summicron APO as I ha forgotten my 90 Elmarit at home. My accurate focus hit rate was very high - better than on my Leicas - the reason why I sold my 90 APO years ago (before prices rose astronomically): <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hong+Kong+2016/BluParotCU3611.jpg.html> A bird lover walking his cockatoo - the 90 APO wide open - great bokeh! <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hong+Kong+2016/Cockatoo3603.jpg.html> In a dark corner an old fellow was reading the newspaper with a magnifying glass - the 90 APO again - cropped to about half the frame: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hong+Kong+2016/GlassRead90cr3591.jpg.html> A green parrot lover - the 90 cron APO, of course: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hong+Kong+2016/GrnPrt3607.jpg.html> And finally a Red Parrot once more with the 90 cron APO cropped to about half the frame. I photoshopped out the chain that held him down: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hong+Kong+2016/RedPar3595.jpg.html> Please view large - C&C always welcome. Cheers, Howard
