Only if the lobster were fresh (and I don't recall a lobster season in the Bay Area...) and the crabs were frozen (which they may have been given the algae (?) has decimated their population this year). Is crabbing still not allowed? I haven't been keeping track. But to each their own: as long as it was shared with good company and conversation, the choice is moot! Have a happy Julian new year, Herb, with continued health and happiness for you and all your family.
