I use the WhiBal card: http://michaeltapesdesign.com/whibal.html

You just take a photo with the card in the light you want , use the 
white balance dropper in Lightroom or Photoshop and then synch that with 
the other images in the same light.  Pretty easy and gives a good 
starting point for any further tweaking to taste.
