I remember, with significant misery, standing in the outfield wondering what 
to do while waiting for balls that never came.
Hated the "game."
Enjoyed hitting balls out to friends to catch.
Enjoyed playing "catch."
But the "game of baseball?"
a bore to watch and/or play
