The first image shows a nervous parent searching for the jump aircraft and the first sign of jumpers away. Her eyes and ears were much sharper than mine. http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Parent+Watches+for+Jump+Airplane.jpg.html The 27mm can't compete with longer lenses for jumper details, but the full frame captures a pretty sight. http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Jumper+Full+Frame.jpg.html An Army helicopter showed up for fuel. It provided a nice contrast with the DC-3 in the background. http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Today+and+Yesterday_filtered+FM.jpg.html The city officials have been busy converting a condemned swimming pool into a Splash Park. Spring rains have delayed completion, but I saw the crew filling it with water yesterday in passing. Very colorful. http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Splash+Park+Nearing+Completion.jpg.html The building in the background contains an indoor pool for year-round use.
