Oops Philippe, I forgot about that possibility. Your own facility with 
English is brilliant and I generously attributed your linguistic adroitness 
to the entire French nation of Leica users!

Mind you, I'm struggling with English myself as it's not my first language 
:-) and particularly this week after re-reading the translation of your 
fellow countryman Roland Barthes's philosophical consideration of 
photography "Camera Lucida" which was - to say the least - challenging to 
read.
