I know, but I had bought Transcend cards by then and they are still used in 
the M9/Monochrom. I use Lexar in the M and S2.

Sandisk helped Leica to get it straightened out.....

The main difference in speed is when turning the camera on, especially with 
EVF attached. I have been satisfied with the Lexar 600x (I have shied away 
from Sandisk since experiences with the M9) but have not tried every card 
available.....
