>>Most of the old houses in Havana, and the rest of Cuba, had balconies
which
are now used for garbage cans and laundry:

I had asked for rooms in the the Casa Particulares with balconies. I
imagined sitting on the balcony and taking photos of the street. None of
our rooms had balconies. Most did not even have windows. It's a different
way of life.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Hi Tina,
One spot on Planet Earth I have always thought I'd like to spend a couple of
months shooting a documentary series. Now you've completely enamoured me
with it. Hopefully with "The GREAT SPIRIT" willing with my time? I may yet
get a couple of weeks there before going to the "BIG DARKROOM IN THE SKY!"
:-)

Your coverage is as always "superb and enlightening" complete with the added
text.

Thanks a bunch!
cheers,
ted
