Subject: [Leica] Hunter S. Thompson on the Problem of Focusing Too Much on the Technicals of Photography

It appears that at one point Thompson had acquired so much money he could
not figure out what to spend it on but cool high end cameras like Hasselblad
but was too high to learn how to use them so before he came down he wrote a
letter to Pop Photo complaining about it. This is HUGELY inspiring.
Pop photography those days it should be said was a gadget rag.
But had cool regular columnists.
But learning photography from Popular Photography those days compares to
learning Photography from chat groups nowadays.
Comparing fragments of mis information.
