The shot is completely by candlelight; it was my last attempt of the
evening.

I sat in the back row so that I would not bother anyone when I raised my
arms to shoot.  My camera has a tilt down screen so I was able to compose
from a sitting position, and the absolute silent shutter let me get the
shot off while the altar boys were lighting the candles, which was a very
quiet moment with no movement.

The only manipulation was a small amount of noise control in Lightroom,
some cropping and burning of shiny bald heads in the foreground in
PhotoShop.  ;-)

I've always loved the ability to shoot in the dark, and I'm enjoying these
modern sensors that let me shoot what I see.
