Jay, very interesting on the backwards workflow.
Although I currently do not have either MM or Lightroom, I'll save
for future reference. I do set my digital cameras to -1/2 or 2/3
under & use usually #8 or lighter yellow filters. A former photolab
owner taught me to use high quality filters in front of the lens
instead of adding in camera or later in digital manipulation.
