This year, for the first time, the group of people at the office who have US
nationality in addition to the EU one, celebrated Thanksgiving with a lunch
at Liberty Kitchen, an American restaurant in Alicante, whose owner and
chef, Mike, made us turkey with the customary fixins. We were 7, swapping
stories about how we came to be US citizens; the prize for exotic background
goes to a guy who has US, Australian and French nationalities and was
conceived in Kabul according to his parents (long before Afghanistan went
Taliban).

Than, last night at home, we had Thanksgiving dinner with 8 Spanish friends.
My wife went all out with turkey, pies, and so on.
