The A7 series raw currently use a lossy compression which may show in some 
shots, also some techie stuff about just 11bit colour depth from the 
available 14bit pipeline....

It's on my drool list, with one reservation.  Several users with first-hand 
experience with both the A7 and the DMR have told me the Sony's color 
quality while better than CaNikon ain't in the DMR league :(
