Nor did any photographer I knew. Except one. We tended to leave our camera in out studios and only use them when we were working. Later on in the 90's I joined the LUG and got a Leica M6 and slept with it under my pillow and went to the bathroom with it... Went to the movies with it. When I guy on the list named "Ted Grant" said "never be without it" he got no argument from me. I wore mine on my belt in a foam thing. But then I had a waist then.
