Not unique to Leica at least I think.This one is only a collectors edition with a tiny handful made in any case. Personally I' don't think it as pretty as say the M-P myself if the styling matters. The M-P is the one that does the same as your M John. As a picture making tool this one does less and its harder to do than with the standard camera of course and the whole approach can be duplicated with a standard camera if that's what you want.
