Grin there is Tina, in part :-(

Travel agents still organize trips down to Djerba - the coast seems safer 
than the rest of the country - many (probably guarded) seaside resorts are 
in operation.

And I have students from there, all of them so nice people with large smiles 
even after such a turmoil in their homeland.

I was there south of Tataouine in late February - could be freezing in the 
desert - and very windy.
