However some days just not enough hours in the day to remark on everyone. Along with some that are so remarkably wonderful sometimes not sure just what to say? In any event thank you very much as he had phoned asking if there were any comments? When I offered one or two he was rather disappointed thinking maybe they weren't as good as much as his "OLD MAN WAS GETTING EXCITED!" Obviously, as with many REGURLAR CREW members, we don't comment on everyone. He's a big lad and he'll get over it..... TRUTH IS???????????? SO WILL I!" :-) cheers, ted -----Original Message----- From: LUG [mailto:lug-bounces+tedgrant=shaw.ca at leica-users.org] On Behalf Of George Lottermoser Sent: September-17-14 11:44 AM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] Instagram -- YOU WONT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!! :-) On Sep 17, 2014, at 11:21 AM, Ted Grant wrote: > too busy to have the courtesy of looking at the photography of a "visiting > real amateur photographer" wondering what the CREW thought of his "Happy > Snaps? Rest assured ? I look at every single LUG posting. Even though I do not comment on every single LUG posting. I rarely comment on work which is simply consistently of high quality. It seems very redundant to continue to say the same thing to the same people. I usually comment when something seems exceptionally good; or exceptionally troublesome to my eye. Ted's work with his iPhone seems well above "Happy Snaps." The old adage that "the best camera is the one you have with you." seems perfectly illustrated with Ted's Instagram collection. He obviously knows very well when, why and how to use a camera. He also seems to know when to apply the various canned Instagram Filters; to good advantage; without getting too clich?d in the process. All in all an impressive collection. I find it quite interesting that many who used their iPhones to record virtually everything in their life often achieve, through laws of probability, the occasional rather fantastic photograph. Ted on the other hand obviously practices "the art of photography;" using his iPhone as his tool of choice.
