In the traditional 500 series, there is a baffle shutter and the REAL
shutter. The baffle is used to protect the film during viewing. It is not
used to time exposures.

The real shutter is inside the lenses... a leaf shutter.... And it is low
inertia, quiet and would not make any noticeable vibration, especially with
a camera as heavy as a Hasselblad.

How do the Digital backs play with the shutters? I think Bob can answer
that one......

The reputedly best of the best Hasselblad traditional lens is the 100
Planar.

Given the sensor of these new Phase One backs is 54x40.4 mm, the native
format ratio is 4:3. Same as traditional 645.

The back costs $40,000.

That mirror slap will continue to wage it's war on stillness.
