Subject: [Leica] Film developing in almost clean water

When I was in Korea 60 years ago we developed B&W film using a Tri Chem 
Pack in water so dirty you could almost walk on it. The negatives were 
OK. Contrary to Ted's assertion rather than filter the water for our 
cocktails, we mixed gin in it as a disinfectant.
