Subject: [Leica] in which I crow a bit

I started shooting street around the same time I joined the LUG, late in
2005, and got a lot of support here in what I was doing. When it became
apparent I was pretty serious about it, Sonny steered me over to John
Brownlow's now-defunct Street Photography forum, a project John more or less
spun off from his own participation here in 1999.?

Around the middle of 2010 I belatedly began a flickr account and have been
engaged in the SP dialog over there in various ways ever since, but have
always remembered that my involvement with an international photographic
community began here, and have never forgotten the support I received in the
early days when positive reinforcement can make such a difference.?

At any rate, I wanted to pass along this bit of good news that came along
for me recently:

It may take a while to load, it's a big page, but my stuff is about halfway
down. Jack Simon are the two guys from the U.S. represented in this lot. No
money, but hell - it's the first time I'll have stuff on a wall in fifteen
years.

Cheers, H.
