I am guessing that is for raw photos converted to DNG outside of camera (eg
Fuji), I think native DNG is supported but never tried....

true or not. I do not use DNG format, so it is of little concern to me, but
those who do might want to check it out:

Worth noting that DxO Optics Pro does not (cannot, will not) open DNG files
for the following reasons:

"Regarding DNG files. We do not offer currently support for converted DNG
files in Optics Pro or any of our other produces. Though DNG converted files
contain the original RAW file information, the information is no longer
exactly as the camera body wrote it. RAW files are encrypted by their
manufacturers, and in order to use the information in these files, we must
decrypt the information using precise information provided to us. To do
this, it is critical that the information in the file be exactly as it was
written by the camera, down to the exact location of the data within the
file. When you convert the original RAW file to the DNG format, the
decryption information we have fails because the data has been moved.
Optics Pro is a far more precise program than the other programs you noted,
so it is imperative that all information be as the camera originally wrote
it to your camera card. Therefore, we currently do not have any immediate
plans to offer converted DNG support for input files. DxO Support Team "
