Subject: [Leica] Lens Adapters: Leica R to EOS

Unless they changed what a chip does in the last 4 years, my chipped EOS
adapters I used back then were just a unreliable as unchipped. The chip put
some lens info into the EXIF data, but did nothing for metering. Maybe a
newer chip does, now. Just so you know.

Steve, I have heard that the Novaflex is made better or stronger and
although the Leitax product would work I need to use the R lenses on both
the film R6.2 and digital EOS mounts. As for the Canon exposure stopped down
it is not accurate and currently my Rayqual is not chipped.
