The little metal piece on the end of its also tends to drop off. I've had nothing to complain about with any of the various R to EOS adapters - both with and without focus confirmation - from Enjoyyourcamera.com - they have a decently sized tab for unlocking,them, too. The only poor adapter I had from them is for Rollei QBM to EOS.
