Subject: [Leica] Is it just me, or are these new Leica lenses a huge step up?

No new M lenses have been released since the M(240) was released, the 50mm 
APO asph Summicron was announced with the Monochrom but is still mostly 
unavailable ;-)

It's almost as if Leica has upped their quality control game now that the 
M240 sensor is so demanding and there are so many pixel peepers.

The only thing I don't really like about the new Summarit 90 is the lens 
hood, which is an extra expense, but even more problematic is that it is a 
screw-on instead of the handy slide-out one that came on the Elmarit 90.
