I would go to the section of the Lightroom develop module that deals with 
specific colors. In this case, I guess that ?pink? would fall in the 
category ?red?. Then there are so many parameters you can play with using 
sliders: saturation, contrast, brightness, etc., and you might be able to 
partially suppress that background, or at least make it more distinguishable 
form the camel.
