The Lone Cypress is a registered trademark of the Pebble Beach club, but you can publish pictures of the tree. The likes of Alamy would probably require a property release to include it in their database, just as they would with a pictures containing any other figurative mark (e.g. the Golden Arches). When I was last there in August 2012, I did not see any signs prohibiting or restricting photography. They could if they wanted to, though--because the 17-Mile Drive is private property.
