I do think Sigma as well as the host of usual suspects are quite capable of
giving Leica and here Zeiss a run for their money if they quite simply gave
them a run for their same money. In other worlds like in this case coming
out with a lens costing thousands not hundreds...  As in four of them. 4000.
With primo glass choices and R&D and product controll. Call it a PR thing
sure you sell a lot less units. But it makes you look good and when you do
sell one its a big deal! I think car companies have long done that. Had one
premium car in their lineup.
