Agreed to the full Steve,
Right on the money!
I may even have once written we were the FLUG with F as in former ...

HOWEVER

our LUG community originally started from a deep, profound and nearly
pathological interest in Leica cameras and lenses, so I don't see any point
with the book cover - are we not all after all (day)dreaming when one of us
posts a "true" leica pikter -)

Don't we all wish Leica was up to our own standards? ... whatever that means.

Amities, tres sinceres de Mutz

I am very well aware of the truth in what you say Neil, as it affects me to,
but nevertheless what I said is true as well. Maybe we need finally to face
up to it. And Leica as well... It is not just about the cost of Leica gear,
it's the simple fact that gear exists that is far cheaper and as good as
Leica from other sources. If the Leica Users Group only occasionally use
leica equipment to make their images, it's about time to face up to it for
all concerned, to face reality. This book is a minor issue, when you examine
the big picture. We can easily call our group the Camera Users Group and the
book the CUG Yearbook.
