Hi Peter,
I wish you lots of luck for this new life you're starting. Happy retirement!
I've been retired for about three years and I have never ever regretted that
decision - though I must say I had no choice since I had reached the age
limit ... ! My wife and I do some traveling, to the US mainly where one of
our daughters lives. And since we live downtown Strasbourg, we walk and walk
and visit and go to the cinema and just take it easy. Picture taking is a
daily occupation (plus LR5) as well as writing and reading. And looking
after our grand-children, the ones who live close by. Fills the day. One
tip, though: leave some room in your agenda for yourself, you will soon
notice people around you believe retirees are free and available as the wind
is ... Very dangerous, indeed.
Bonne chance!
JM
