My F1 that was stolen along with a bunch of other expensive stuff was stolen from our home in Ida Township last fall (2012). I called around, but everyone claimed not to have it, although I can't imagine anyone admitting to even "accidentally" possessing stolen property. A buyer might get a different story. I bought it from a former LUG member around 2005 for $2560. It was a fine lens. My insurance company replaced it with a .95, so if you can find it, more power to you.? You're confirming what I suspected, that I would be paying a premium if I bought an f/1.2, even a battered one, instead of an f/1 in the same condition. Anyone have any leads to a user f/1? And I do specifically want a Noctilux, not an excellent alternative. The auction site is full of f/1s in the $5-6000 range, all in apparently excellent condition. I'm looking for half the condition at half that price. -howard _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group. See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
