Thanks to all who answered. You're confirming what I suspected, that I would 
be paying a premium if I bought an f/1.2, even a battered one, instead of an 
f/1 in the same condition.

Anyone have any leads to a user f/1? And I do specifically want a Noctilux, 
not an excellent alternative. The auction site is full of f/1s in the 
$5-6000 range, all in apparently excellent condition. I'm looking for half 
the condition at half that price.
