Lifeguards' hut on the beach at Bray overlooking the Irish Sea. The hut is
craned in at the start of the summer and craned out at the end of it.
Bray used to be a relatively safe beach, but the coastal reinforcements a
few years ago have made it trickier sometimes when the wind changes. I used
to swim all year round, but had a nasty experience in November '12 despite
being a former triathlete and thus what might be called a strong swimmer.

So now if the wind does its rare enough trick and blows from the north-east,
swim in front of the lifeguards' hut: comely maidens will rush to your
rescue if things go wrong.
