It is easy to blame the photographers.
IMHO it was her fans who were responsible for her death.
They were voracious for every magazine story and picture they could possibly 
get, and mean that the magazines made -much- more money if they had Di 
pictures in an issue.
The magazines paid silly money for pictures, particularly scandalous ones, 
so loads of photographers vied to get the picture.
If the fans had been less obsessive maybe there would have been fewer 
photographers about.
