I love the silvery look that the backlight gives the picture.

By the way, for less than U.S. $100 you can buy a device that will calibrate 
your monitor and install a profile. I think mine was about $80 on Amazon. 
It's called a Spyder 4 Express. There are several different brands of such 
devices. 

Since I can't attest to my memory for colors, what I can say is that when I 
make a print with a relative cheap Epson, the color pretty much match what 
is on my screen.
