Yes people love those stories and magical properties and values ascribed to
some lenses.
Part of the Leica environment I guess. They can all be used for great or
pedestrian photos and bokeh is just not a fixed value/property unique to
individual designs. There are many variables.
What you can say about that V4 Summicron is that it is tiny and handles
very well on the camera and the price/retained value stays high due to its
reputation. Some personal taste/preferences involved as always. I always
considered tht the ASPH. Version was undervalued.
